DEFORESTATION

Deforestation, or deforestation is total removal, either by cutting or by burning woody plants in a given area.
What effect may deforestation ?

Deforestation is, in some cases- if done head- useful because the surface can then be used for other purposes, such as agriculture, grazing, construction and also resulting timber is very useful in many industries. Problems arise when deforestation are in an irrational and lacks sustainability.
Such deforestation on a massive scale, leading to deterioration of soil quality and although somewhere in the forests still cover 30 % of the planet's surface each year 75,000 kmof forest disappear, according to National Geographic. The rate of deforestation in the tropics is very high and if drastic measures are not taken, up to 100 years in tropical forests will disappear completely, says the same source.
Among the negative effects of habitat estedistrugerea millions of species of flora and fauna. About 70 percent of terrestrial plants and animals living in the forests, and most do not survive the destruction of their homes. Also, no trees- the tin shade during the day and at night keeps the heat better- changes resulting from high temperatures, which are harmful to plants and animals from the area.
In recent years the rate of deforestation has decreased a little, and several countries around the world have initiated reforestation projects, but deforestation still remain a problem. An issue that should I pay more attention and a lot more consideration.
As the current situation in Romania, where they destroyed thousands of hectares, much of it illegal, it has brought us in the situation that we are the poorest in Europe Chapter forests. I hope to change that soon. The sooner the better.
