One of the many major environmental problems threatening the planet is without a doubt the waste. Everyday we all throw away objects that are no longer useful, whether they are paper, glass, cardboard, and so on. On a weekly basis, the sanitation service acts, emptying garbage bins at the edges of cities, at so-called "ladfills".
Apart from the fact that this process is quite expensive, it also presents a huge disadvantage, the fact that it pollutes the environment. We all have heard the word "pollution", but many of us do not know what it means. That is why I will list some of the forms of impact and risk derated from landfills:
- landscape changes and visual discofort;
- air pollution, which is one of the most serious;
- surface water pollution;
- Changes in soil fertility and bioconcentration composition on adjacent terrain.
What can we do to save our planet? It's simple, we can recycle. Of course, not all wastes can be recycled, but we could recycle those that can be. We could make more biodegradable
products, plant more many trees, because they help to purify the air, but they also produce the oxygen we need.
Through all the above, we can hope for a healthier life on earth.
